Lobsters can live up to 100 years and the biggest lobster ever recorded weighed 20.14 kg which was caught in the state of Canada. The lobster is much appreciated food among the nobility of the Europe though it is a very expensive food for a normal person to eat.
Lobster is also sometimes sold alive and eaten fresh and boiled alive in which a live lobster Is put into the boiling water even though there have been a lot of studies conducted in this method of cooking it is good not to boil the lobster in order to break fry or cook the lobster.
Lobster is the family related to the in vertebrates which I having a hard covering outside their body called the ego skeleton. Like the most of the arthropods the lobsters have to molt in order to grow, this molting process leaves them vulnerable .as during this molting process many of the species change there color. Also lobsters have got blue blood like the snails and the spiders which is iron rich hemoglobin. Another very interesting aspect of lobster is that lobster does not grow old with age but there fertility increases with age means that they get younger as they get older. The lobster are found in all oceans and they live on the rocky bottoms of the shores or on the edge of the continental shelf Lobster may also scavenge in times of need and have also been reported to be cannibalism .Lobster skin was found in their stomach but that may also been the case that they may eat their molted skin.
